Sister coming to visit in july!

There's been so much going on at my house. My parents are still having health issues and things are getting worse for them. I am really trying my best to take care of everyone. I sometimes feel overwhelmed and tired. But, a change of energy/pace will be happening end of the month!! My sister and her two kids are coming to visit us on the farm for a month from japan:) It will be nice for my mom and dad to have some happiness to distract them of the health problems. I am really looking forward to them coming! I miss them a lot! Daichi and Mika play really well with Aki.

Spring is here

Warmer weather is finally showing itself and we are all anxious to be outside and see green grass and flowers blooming! I am anxious for my garden and have to busily start my seed planting! Many many vegetables again this year! Sweet corn, swiss chard, cucumbers, eggplants, tomatoes, lettuce, cabbages, squash, zucchini, herbs, beans are just some of the veggies i'm planning to grow.


My children will be having their own garden again and I always look forward to seeing them weeding in the garden. Weeds always compete with my garden veggies and it can be frustrating! I will be keeping up with the weeds by putting down plastic to smother them out and keep the plants going strong!


My parents are survivors and I'm looking forward to my sister and her kids coming from japan to visit us and have some family time! summer is all about family, friends, fun in the sun, bbq and gardening!

Kindergarten in Sept!

My youngest daughter Emi will be starting Junior kindergarten in September!
She is all registered and I still can't believe she's going to school soon! She wants a Frozen backpack, and a Frozen lunch box. She is growing up so fast! Her favourites are : Dora, Barbie, Frozen, Lego Friends and Minions. I'm going to feel really lonely without her for a while. Kids grow up so fast.

My Daughter Fundraiser for School Trip

Fundraiser time again! My daughter Mika has a school trip to Ripleys Aquarium and CN Tower in Toronto, On. But, they need help to raise money for the trip transportation costs.




The school fundraiser is REGAL GIFTS that sells all sorts of items in their catalogue online. You just need to type in www.prpssf.shopregal.ca and it will take you to the Port Rowan Public School Fundraiser page where you can look at online catalogue to place order and it will be shipped to you. 30% of the orders money will go towards helping for the trip! Sorry CANADA only.






It would be make the kids really happy and any bit would be appreciate to help with their fundraiser goal!
